A Case of Extragenital Choriocarcinoma

Abstract
The authors have experienced a case in which choriocarcinoma appeared in stomach, liver and lung
without primary fous in genital organs.
1. The definite diagnosis of this disease was carried out by the pathological tissue examination and high level of gonadotropin in urine.
2. The symtoms and signs were developed 18 years after the last pregnancy and five years after her menopause.
3. The cause of death was judged as massive gastrointestinal bleeding and the patient died one year and six months after her first onset.
4. This case is considered as the one to support the possibility that choriocarcinoma may appear
from nongestational and extragenital origin, because there is no sign to prove primary focus in the genital system and the disease was developed many years after her last pregnancy and menopause.
